This page covers the signup form on this site. The site is run by Tim Fielder Enterprises, LLC.

What we collect

When you fill in the form, we store:

• Your first name.
• Your email address (trimmed and lowercased).
• A source tag that says which signup form you used.
• Your subscription status, and the times you signed up, were last sent an email (and whether that send worked) and unsubscribed, if you do.

The form also has a hidden spam-trap field that people never see. If it's filled in, the signup is ignored.

To stop abuse, the service limits signups to 15 an hour from one internet connection. To do that it keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, a counter and a time window. It doesn't store your IP address in readable form. Google Cloud keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser and time) for up to 30 days.

Why

To send you the free download you signed up for. Today the signup sends one email. That's it.

Where it's stored and how email is sent

Your details are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, in Tim Fielder Enterprises' Google Cloud project (TFE Web). It's stored on Google Cloud in the US (Iowa).

The email is sent through Google Workspace email, from an address on the tfielder.com domain. It includes a link to the download on Google Drive and an unsubscribe link.

Google provides these services, so Google processes this data for us. We don't sell, rent or share your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it.

If you ask us to delete your information, email the address below and we'll delete it within 30 days.

Unsubscribe

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. It opens a page with a button; press it and you're marked as unsubscribed. The link uses a one-time token, and we only store a scrambled (hashed) copy of it. Unsubscribing keeps a record that you opted out, so you don't get emailed again. You can also email the address below and ask to be removed.
